Welcome to Comm Unplugged
Welcome to Comm Unplugged. In short, I call it “Cup” in my own sense and I write about my personal views of communications amid the Web 2.0 hype.
The idea was derived largely from my previous blog in which I wasn’t focused on communications. I ranted almost about anything. If that’s not bad enough, I often get loaded with a lot of technology talks when I am no technologist or geek. It’s interesting to see how the followings behind social networking has grown, and sometimes I wonder if the “alternative” has gone mainstream. Somehow, I began to see some light in how we concentrated more on the technological advancements than the usage, literally.
Communicating through internet? We have half a dozen sites springing up every other month, we are genuinely spoilt for choices. A little overdosed, I say.
This will also be a good time to introduce a small handful of my associates and friends. They’re not going to write here, but that doesn’t stop me from sharing their views and thoughts in their professions. Meanwhile, stay tuned.
You can do the same, by leaving a comment too.
It took me almost a month to go through suggestions and ideas, how this blog will pan out. I’m definitely looking forward to a more focus approach. If it helps anyone, all the better.
